bowling

Tonight there was a student AND staff bowling event in Bracknell. Over 60 people from Newbold went in and had tons of fun. I got over the 100 score which is more than I usually get. It was so much fun, except for the fact you could't hear yourself because of the noisy Americans. If nothing else they made me feel very old... haha.

I should go bowling more often, it is more social than going to watch a movie, and it is really fun.. a bit expensive but if you do it at the 'right time' you get a pretty good price.

p.s. I'm a bit fascinated by this song right now:

it is official

Maybe you've heard it already, but I thought I would announce it here: Andreas and I will be staying at Newbold after getting married.

It is strange, but a lot has happened, since that first year when Andreas biggest wish was to go back to Sweden, hated the old rich lady he worked for, who basically treated him like crap, and lived in a tiny room with a family he never met before moving, whose kids woke him up at 7am on Sunday mornings. Now he loves his job, which I think is absolutely amazing. Personally, I can't think of anything as important in order to maintain a happy and consent daily living, than wanting and looking forward to go to work. He has found that!

On top of that, we have now been offered a bigger apartment from Newbold, that we right now have started to renovate. All walls will be repainted, new flooring, lamps, sockets etc. And we get to have a say in all of this. So it will really feel like it will be ours.

And so it would only be silly, to go back to Sweden, although we both love the country very much, and miss all our friends there, when we have so many things already sorted if we stay here. The only thing that is a bit worrying for me is what I ought to do with MY future. But at least if we stay, we have an apartment, Andreas has a job, and then we just need to find something that I can spend my time on.
If we were to go back to Sweden we would have to find an apartment, and 2 jobs. So this really will be easier.

I am still not sure whether I should continue with my studies after graduating from Newbold. Perhaps doing a masters in Management at Reading University, or if I should start working as soon as I am done.

We will see... There's still a lot to figure out.
